Reiki is the universal life force energy that flows through all things. For optimal health, this intelligent energy flows freely in the living system, but can sometimes become stagnant or blocked for any number of reasons. Physical and/or emotional trauma, stress, limiting beliefs, or unhealthy coping strategies can all work to block this free flow of energy, which can manifest in the body as pain or illness. When these blockages are cleared, the body’s natural intelligence can heal itself.

While a reiki session may help you to identify and clear these blockages, the real work is done by you. The path to healing is a collaborative effort. My goal as a practitioner is to empower you so that you can heal yourself.

Becoming a reiki practitioner was never part of my agenda. I didn’t seek out Reiki, but it somehow miraculously found me. My first encounter with Reiki changed the course of my life and now feel a responsibility to share this energy with anyone who wishes to receive it. I have been a student of Reiki since 2005 and completed master certifications in both White Light and Karuna Fire lineages.
